Jacuzzi Italy Participates in Milan Design Week
“TRON designs CORIAN®” is the name given to an interior design exhibit that will debut April 11, 2011 through April 17, 2011 at Milan Design Week.
The project enlists architects and designers to create home interiors inspired by the Walt Disney Studios movie, Tron: Legacy. Famous Italian architect and designer, Marco Piva, conceived a bathroom and wellness area that features bathing areas and mirrors that take on the shape of large circular forms that emulate the discs of TRON.
DuPont™ Corian®, a product used primarily in countertops, is used throughout the fascinating exhibit. The bath (pictured above) is the Jacuzzi Italy Nova model that has been modified with a Corian surround custom made for this event.
Thanks to Jacuzzi Italy, total wellbeing is not science fiction.
